My odd experience

So I went to Illinois tonight, to see WWE RAW LIVE at the Mark. I saw someone carrying some type of fried foods. So I casually went up to one of the stands to ask what oil they used, at first the girl was like, "uh, I don't know" and the boy was like "what kind of oil? um, I think it's peanut". So I got to be very paranoid about the fumes for 3.5 hours. That topped my bad night off. It's bad enough that people can buy bags of peanuts, but throw some oil in there and you'll be in peanut **** .

I barely enjoyed the show, and I really don't get why they would use PEANUT OIL? UGH.

I believe peanut oil is cheaper, and it cooks hotter. Personally, even pre-allergy days I never liked foods cooked in peanut oil.

That sort of thing is for frustrating, I took my family to a homeshow in Toronto recently , at the front there was an ice cream stand where they were hand dipping them in peanuts which meant there were crushed peanuts all over the floors in every direction as well at the back they had roasted honey peanuts and other nuts, what's up with that, we made sure to carry our allegic kid so it didn't get on her shoes, thankfully she is still small, but we are sure now that her allergy isn't airborne or we would have known it, its hard to live with a peanut allergy in a peanut smoothered world.

Peanut oil is in fact, more expensive that other veggie oil. I think so frequently people just don't even know.

Peanut oil leaves less of a taste, according to all the cooking shows I watch on Food Network (LOL! How's that for an authoritative source!)

Sorry you had a bad experience! Patty
