Ms. Filan never answered my email. But NBC/MSNBC seems to be wanting to redeem itself by putting this on the Today show recently:

I hope they made Ms. Filan watch it. I got no response from her either. I guess she considers herself above reproach. Her arrogance still burns me.

No response from either FAAN or MSNBC either. I can't say I'm surprised about MSNBC, but I am about FAAN. This is the first time I've contacted them and haven't received a response.

Well, I am glad to see that FAAN addressed this, but wow, it's been quite a bit of time since this incident occurred.
I will be interested to know if MSNBC has any response!

This is terrible. They should not make light of a serious allergy like that by pretending it is not life threatening. We should notify other allergy support groups so that they can publicize this too and klet MSNBC know what we think.
