Minnesota Epinephrine Legislation- URGENT

Publish date:
Updated on

Hello all, A bill - number hf3385 - that requires "Epinephrine treatment for allergic reactions required of all ambulance services, and EMT training requirements modified." is now being introduced by Alice Hausman to the MN House of Representatives to the Health and Human Services Policy Committee. This would require epinephrine in all ambulance services, which is currently not the case.

Would all Minnesotans please contact their representative to give support for this bill? www.leg.state.mn.us will give you the language of the bill and find your representative.

MINNESOTANS-The Health and Human Services Committee chair of the House of Representatives is reluctant to give the bill a hearing (he is opposed to mandates). Please call and ask him to hear H.F. 3385. His name is Fran Bradley (from Rochester, MN) and his number is (651) 296-9249.

If the bill doesn't receive a hearing next week, then it dies this session and we have to wait a year to propose another one.
