Middle School goes peanut free....

Another Huron County School Bans Peanuts

Parents of students at Colborne Central School are being asked not to send any nut products to the school. Principal Willie Laurie says at least one student in the school has a severe allergy to nut products. A doctor recommended the class be declared nut-free but Laurie believes with the amount of traffic between classes it was safer to go nut-free throughout the school. Laurie says they've also emphasized the importance of hand washing so that students don't bring any traces of nut products to school from home.
