pHas anyone tried contacting big media shows such as "Dateline," "20/20" etc. I have written to Dateline just to see if I could get a reaction. Will anyone join in trying to get someone to wake up out there to this problem of mislabeling foods. /p

That's okay here is a link for those who don't already know about the PeanutAllergy.Com "Media" Discussion Board Forum. We like to have similar topics together on the same forums, this helps keep information together and easier to locate (especially for those not familiar with how to search on a discussion board). Example: The Media" Forum is for all media discussion and information.
You should be able to click on this link to go to the "Media" Forum (Discussion Board).

mom2nickie, glad to see your active!
We like to see peanut allergy in the media, so you are onto a good idea! Hope you will work on getting stories in the media!
We always recommend that people take a good look around the boards and become familiar with what is here such as the names of the Forums and the threads already started (I know it can take a long time). Don't worry about making mistakes posting, we would rather see you posting and joining in that not posting your ideas and any information you find. If you make any mistakes you think should be deleted or if you need help to edit your post let me know. It does take some work but we can delete posts if we feel they should be deleted after you request this assistance. If we delete a post, we then have to "index' the boards again so the "search" will work properly.
This may be a good time to bring up the "search" feature on these boards. You can just do a search to see if the topic you are wanting to post about is already started, then you can add to the already existing threads (if you found any in your search) to help keep related information together. The search feature can be found on the right side of board pages by clicking on "search".
(We also recently renamed the introduction board to allow people to practice posting there first and find tips on how our community uses these boards).
Keep on posting!
