Sorry for the confusion and to have upset you. I think a more appropriate response would be to ask for clarification if you did not understand my comment-not twist around what I wrote. It can be hard to read what someone is thinking or trying to say in a simple comment post-here we ask for clarification-not insult those that are trying to help.
While I understand what I wrote could be unclear to some (I did write an original post that obviously didn't get posted), to clarify (and you would know this if you frequented my site or this forum)we have had the MCD ice cream without incident, have cked on the ingredients in the past, but b/c MCD has no peanuts in their food (packaged pnuts with the sundae or salads which are made offsite), and because their practices are assembly line and pretty much never change-we have not asked "recently". (This came up in another thread and I posted this thoroughly there recently-so did not feel the need to post it all again a third time-but since my original post did not show up here-I should have and that's my mistake.)
The original question was "does anyone get the soft serve" to which my response was yes, we have-without incident.
However, I did NOT say "go ahead and try it". I stated here that I have not asked about the hot fudge as I did not want the person to "assume" that it was safe. I was not telling that person to go ahead and get it. And it's certainly not my place to spout off what someones comfort level should or shouldn't be.
For the record; I do encourage all people to ask and read ingredient labels. sme158, MCD has their ingredients online and I've posted the link here and the ice cream information-which appears to be safe-but ask MCD if you feel uncomfortable.
iansmommyTay,
I hope you continue to read through the site and forums here and take the time to get to know people before calling them ignorant after reading one comment.
