Hello. This is my first posting. My dd was diagnosed with PA about 4 weeks ago. I have been reading and learning lots. Thanks. I was prompted to post because a relative works for Cadbury/Adams and recieved an internal e-mail about Mars going Nut Free. It read as follows:
Hello everyone,
Not sure if you have heard, but Effem is preparing to relaunch Mars bar in all formats as a nut free offering. Any Mars bar from the bite size to the king size will be positioned as nut free. In the process, they are discontinuing the Almond Mars bar.
Great,I love Mars Bars, but have stopped eating them since my dd's were diagnosed with PA....wait a minute, maybe this isn't such a good thing. I can fee my pants getting tighter already....Gilli

I did a search just to check and found this thread. I didn't know that mars bars were peanut safe! I just found them at Walmart here in Canada - I can't beleive I missed it on the radar screen! In case you too have missed it, they have the big peanut free sign on front!! Belle says "I want a black bar", and I can say yes!
Happy Summer All.
