after having severe reactions numerous times i feel like i have ptsd and get more and more afraid to eat foods that i haven't eaten before. i'm so overly cautious. i've been looking for an app that's reliable so when i go to the grocery store i can scan items and i'm given the go ahead on being nut free but i'm not sure which one is the most reliable. i've been using shopwell and it's pretty good but i'm always looking for suggestions. thanks.

I'd love to find a good app, been looking for a while now. I usually google a food item and research it thoroughly. If there's an app where I can scan labels when I'm shopping and it guarantees there are no nuts, that would be a game changer.

I use Ipiit. It gives you a good list of food items that you want to avoid in your preferences. When I'm grocery shopping I can scan food labels. It's really helpful.

Shopwell and ipiit are the two apps I use when grocery shopping and even when I'm at my family's house and I need to double check labels to be sure they're safe for me.
