The FDA recall site lists numerous recalls for CUMIN and CUMIN containing foods, they are suddenly all testing positive for PEANUT.
Just as a caution keep an eye on that recall site and read the ingredient statements and be very cautious with anything that contains CUMIN till they get to the bottom of this.
The web page to search for current recalls is http://www.fda.gov/Safety/Recalls/default.htm
Type in the allergen you are looking for in the keyword box for a list of all suppliers currently affected. I have an email out to Spice Islands (ACH Foods) to see if they are also affected.

Full Product: Ground Cumin Seed UPC Code: Comments: Has your cumin been affected by the recent peanut cross contact issues declared by several national brands?
Any advice on avoiding cumin when eating out? Are restaurants also made aware when a food item is recalled?
