pHi Guys,/p
pYou all probably know this but you may not./p
pI have Maggi at home that I used for soups before my son had a reaction to peanuts and later tested positive to having an allergy./p
pMy "Maggi" says hydrolyzed vegetable protein and doesn't say the source so I never used it after my son was diagnosed./p
pI was at my Mom and Dad's yesterday, and sure enough they had some Dutch soup on the stove and my son didn't have any but I saw the Maggi out and told my Mom not to ever let Austin have any soup if she had put that in./p
pI looked at her bottle and it said "HYDROLYZED PEANUT PROTEIN"br /
so they have since probably changed there ingredients to list the source which is good, but if you have old stuff like me, and don't realize that the source is "PEANUT", then this is good to know./p
pAlso, it reiterates the importance of not letting your pa children eat homeade soups when out, because "Maggi" is a taste enhancer and a lot of restaurants perhaps use it./p
Maggi now lists \Hydrolyzed Peanut Protein\
