I read your post to the 18 month peanut question and wanted to answer you directly.
Yes, I think you should start your son wearing the bracelet now. It will help him get used to it and even though you are a sahm, it will help keep him safe.
I also think it's great just in the event one of our kids gets lost, that bracelet will identify everything about them!!

I agree it's good to get the bracelet early. I lost my son in a children's museum one day, when he was a toddler--he was only missing for about 10 minutes, but that's when I decided to get the bracelet (we never called it a bracelet, though, we just call it a Medic-Alert). He was excited when it came in the mail addressed to him and he seems sort of proud of it. He always comments when he sees other people wearing them, sort of like he's in a special "club."

Ditto - I'm a SAHM and my Michael wears his 24/7. I just figured that the earlier he got used to it the better chance I'd have of him keeping it on when he was old enough to figure out how to get it off.

My JD has been wearing his bracelet for a year now. He keeps it on 24/7 as well. It's so easy to forget it when you're walking out the door. Plus should something happen to me and i could not let someone know about his allergy, I know the bracelet is there.
