Safe ice cream choices?

Hi all!

Looking for suggestions on ice cream for my peanut and egg allergic daughter. I've always allowed whatever kind she liked from the grocery store, provided the label contained no peanuts, eggs, or cross contamination warnings. Never had a problem. But . . .

She's going to an event this weekend without me, and the mom in charge has asked me for safe ice cream to buy? I'm suddenly panicked as to what to recommend. Ice cream is usually the one universal desert we can feel okay about at functions, but since I won't be there, I'm nervous!

Can you help?

Many thanks!

I think I might offer to buy the ice cream. At the very least I would double check the label when I dropped her off.
