Jimmy's Mom - Your poor nephew! I can see how a warm ooey gooey glistening crown of sweet buttery caramel coated fluffy buns would be a turn-off! Yeah, right! Im watching the carbs these days and just writing that I think I exceeded my limit for the day!
Momma2boys - Glad to hear they're being enjoyed by your family. Company for breakfast - you MUST be a morning person!

raising, as I have just found the dough balls in a grocery dtore for the first time! If only I have instant pudding in the house, I could do it right now before bed. But, might have to wait. But I did find the recipe by doing a search for "dough balls", LOL! becca

So, I made these. How easy can something so sinful get???
I might try halfing the butter and sugar, because I think it would still be a nice bread, but they are ooey, gooey good! Thanks for sharing this. becca

Crazy eh?! That easy, That good! Glad you enjoyed. You certainly can cut down a bit on the butter & sugar. The original recipie called for 1/4 to 1/2 butter, but since I use par to of the 1/2 to butter the pan I use it all. You can also add dried cranberries, or raisins if you like for a different twist.

This has become our treat when dh travels. The kids(well, dd especially) and I enjoy then as a feel good treat for a breakfast.
I tried it in a dozen muffin tin. Tewo balls in each tin, mixed the sugar, puding and cinnamon together and sprinkled over each, and drizzled some butter on each. I had sprayed with some Pam as well, as I had not alot of butter.
They looked really pretty, so puffy in the muffin tin, and came out very nicely! Yummy for a chilly, rainy day like we are having. Not so great for my triglycerides, sigh... becca
