We just returned from Lake George and had a great experience with peanut allergy and had lots of fun. We rented a cabin with a kitchen so we didn't eat out too much. We did have McDonald's a few times. In Lake George Village we ate at Sicilian Spaghetti House & Pizzeria on Canada Street. The staff was very accommodating with son's peanut allergy. Checked with the kitchen, no attitude. The food was safe for him to have. We also ate at Frank's Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria on Route 9. We just ordered pizza and that was safe as well. The waitress was accommodating and offered to check with kitchen staff, etc. We also ate in Six Flags Great Escape, the Character Cafe, soybean oil was used and we ate there as well. Online information stated no food could be brought in but when we were there it said food for allergic individuals could be brought in if permission given in advance.
Hope this helps someone out.
