This petition was started yesterday (10-21-13) and we need 100,000 signatures within 30 days for it to be considered. The way the current law stands, manufacturers are not required to label for cross contamination, ie: "may contain peanuts" or "manufactured on equiptment that process peanuts" or "manufactured in a facility that produces peanut products". Those statements are completely voluntary! Please sign the petition and SHARE SHARE SHARE it. This is the first step in hopefully getting manufacturers to label their foods appropriately so they can be safer to eat for kids and adults with severe, life threatening food allergies.
