I don't allow DD to eat regular sized KitKats but, I've called Hershey about the KitKat bites and as long as they don't have a warning (haven't found one bag that does) I buy them.

Just bought a kit kat bar yesterday. Haven't gotten around to eating it yet (because I also splurged and bought a huge bag of gummy bears too. and I have a giant bag of kissables here too. bad me.) I think I've almost forgotten what they taste like.

If you not feeling confident about the "same facility" warning, Nestle makes a KitKat in Canada that is peanut free and tree nut free. PeanutFreePlanet.com sells them on their website. Not sure if you can get them elsewhere on the internet, but it might be worth the look. Hope that helps.

unless it is for sure peanut free and tree nut free i stay away from regular candy and chocolates like kit kats. for me it's not worth the risk. i usually shop online at specialty stores that guarantee the candies and chocolates are peanut free and tree nut free.
