Does anyone with PA/TNA eat at these fried chicken places? I talked to Boston Market and they said they have no guidelines for cross contamination and have nut entrees/salads. So they're out of the picture.

KFC's website http://www.kfc.com states that they do not use peanuts or tree nuts in any of their foods. But there is still a risk of cross contamination in the manuacturing plant.

We eat at Popeye's a lot (love those red beans & rice!) without any problems, but don't eat at KFC because they use milk products in their "secret recipe"...

I have a hard time trusting places, for instance I went to the KFC website, and it states something like....."none of their products are made with peanuts or nuts however cannot guarentee ..blah blah blah" and then I see Pecan Pie Slice on the menu...Okay, so how can they state that none of their products are made with peanuts/nuts.....Maybe I read it wrong. My ds is not allergic to pecans but it is just a point.
