pHas anyone ever purchased Nutrigrain Twists for their PA child (in Canada)?/p
pWhile at the grocery store earlier today there was a product sampling and when I was offered a sample (Wade was with me) I declined stating that until I spoke directly to the manufacturer, I felt it was not safe for Wade. She agreed and pointed out that the company had her post a small "allergy alert" sign even though there was no indication of peanuts or nuts on the packaging./p
pI know there have been discussions on this board re: the safety of Nutrigrain Bars but I have always felt comfortable with the product and have never had a problem./p
pThanks/p
pKatiee (Wade's mom)/p

About a year ago, I spoke to the manufacturer and the twists were okay. My PA daughter eats them. Today at the grocery store, I noticed a new twist flavour - smores. I'll have to phone them again. Give them a call, because I recall that they will send you a "safe" list for your records.

Hi, I called Kellogs and they said that all their Nutrigrain bars were made in a peanut free plant. Shouldn't this mean that they are completely safe? DianeS

I spoke to Kelloggs (in the US) a few months ago and was told that the nutrigrain twists and bars are produced in a pnt/nut free plant. However, the nutrigrain squares are NOT produced in a pnut/nut free plant.
