So we are off to WDW next week and while the weather is supposed to be in 80's I know that is reaching the max heat level for epi's.

What do you all do to keep them cool? Is it ok just to keep them in my bag in the bottom of the stroller, or do you think that would still be too hot? I've read they shouldn't be put on ice because that would make them too cold. I will be wearing one (its actually a TwinJect) on me on all the rides but will keep a spare or two in the stroller (hidden of course!). Do I need to get a insulated bag or sorts?

TIA!

I use a 16oz hot/cold thermos and I can fit 2 epipens, a benadryl spoon, and a small candy thermometer. I used it this winter and I was able to maintain a 67 degree temperature even when it was 20 degrees out. We are new to the allergy thing so we haven't experienced summer yet, but I believe this solution should work in the summer also. We are going on vacation to FL in a month and we plan to test it out.

Hi,
I use a Frio. If you search in the products section some discussions on it should come up.

im gonna have to try that thermos thing! i live in AZ, so the weather easily gets up to 110+ in the summer, not to mention the oven-like temps that are reached inside the car! which would wreak havoc on epis for sure (ive already left 3 in the car for an extended period of time, oops!), so i'll have to do something this summer... i'll try that!

I got my X-Large Frio today and it is GREAT! I highly suggest it to anyone that was looking at them. I got the X-Large and it will comfortably fit 3 TwinJects (in the hard green outershell) and still have room for some single doses of Benadryl. I looked at the temp storage of Benadryl and it says from 59-77 degrees so the Frio will work well for that too!

I checked our Frio online, and will be purchase one soon, is this something that can also be used in the winter since it's temperture controlled? Or is it just offering cooling in the summer?
