I have always bought Starburst jelly beans. They are peanut free. Brach's did change their ingredients last year and excluded peanut oil. Don't know about this year. The kids love the Starburst JBs - great flavor!

I believe that Smuckers Jelly Beans are also safe.

I called the company to find out where I could buy them. They said that Jewel (and I think Dominick's) carries them. But, they also said I should call the store first because there was no guarantee that they will carry them. For me, it didn't matter because I don't have any of those by me anyway. So, then they suggested those Dollar Stores (like Dollar Tree). That's where I found mine. The good news is that the company told me they have a shelf life of 15 months so if you can find them, you can stock up for next year. Good luck.

Are those the only places they mentioned? We don't have either of those around here. We have Tom Thumb, Kroger's, Albertson's etc. Thanks

KarenD -
wasn't sure if you know that the Just Born "jelly beans" are called "Mike and Ikes" and come in many flavors. If you were looking for something called "just Born" you may not have spotted them. We have them at Walgreen's drugstores, too.

Around Chicago we have Jewel and it's part of the Albertson's chain, so maybe Albertson's will have them as well.
Mike & Ike's Hot Tamales are one of my absolute faves.

The Just Born brand of jelly beans actually go by the name Teenie Beanie jelly beans and I have only seen them in a bag that is the style that either hangs on a rack or can sort of stand up. I have 2 bags I grabbed when I saw them becuase thet *are* hard to find. Here is a link to a picture of the product. Hope that helps you find them. Hi! I have seen them in the past at Stop and Shop, even my tiny, terrible one, but not recently. So, I actually saw them at Roche Bros. and grabbed them, since I had not seen them around in a bit. Here is a link to all their locations. Nice stores, but premium pricing!
