In and Out or not?

I've heard conflicting reports on these milkshakes being safe for PA. Any comments?

I haven't been concerned about them. There isn't anything in the store that they could be cross contimanted with - as far as I know. I admit that I have not checked the ingredients. My dd has had them before with no problem. Miriam

We have them often. I don't call on ingredients, though.

When I called early this year the women I spoke with said it was not safe as the facility where the dairy is made also had nut products and soy products. Call them or visit their website. I left a message and a few minutes later I received a phone call and the lady that I spoke with was very knowledgeable about all the products and all the ingredients in each item they make. There are no nuts in the In and Out Restaurants but it is always a good idea to know who supplies them. For us the hamburger buns are out because they contain soy - and the milkshakes because of the nut and soy. But other than that dd is happy getting fries and hamburger patties wrapped in lettuce. It is a great place to go.

I called Corporate about this question as well. Based on their discussions w/their suppliers, the milkshakes are the only item they indicate are a possible concern for cross-contamination risk (although they believe it to be low).

We love In 'n' Out, but as a precaution, DS orders the lemonade instead when we go there...
