1/2 cup sugar
1 cup milk( I use Half and Half)
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups Heavy whipping cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 pint (2cups) fresh strawberrys
1/2 cup sugar

Mash strawberrys with 1/2 cup sugar.( refrigerate until needed)

Mix egg YOLKS and 1/2 cup sugar, milk(or half and half)and salt in a 2 quart sauce pan.
cover over medium heat, stirring constantly , just to a boil( but do not boil).

Refrigerate in chilled bowl for about 2-3 hours, stirring occasinally, until room temp.

stir whipping cream and vanilla into milk mixture add mashed strawberrys. pour mixture into a 2 quart Ice cream freezer.
Freeze by manufactures directions and enjoy
8 servings(1/2) cup each.

I hope you all try it and like it.
I have other Ice cream recipies that I will post later.
