I made a mistake about Good Humor from the icecream man. It was popsicle brand that makes the Hulk, spiderman and Spongebob Ice pops not Good Humor. They are purely fruit flavored pops,(although I doubt that there is any "fruit" in them at all) Just alot of dye that makes a huge mess. Sorry for the confusion!!

I called Nestle yesterday about the push-up fruity sherberts sold at Sam's Club. I didn't have a bar code to give them but they told me their products are made on shared equip. but they have a thorough cleaning process and often double check it with tests. They are so confident in their cleaning process that if they think there is a chance of cross contamination they label it so unless nuts listed in the label. This may not fit within your comfort zone but just wanted to pass along the info. They encouraged me to always call about a product if I have a question.

We trust Breyer's too, we would use the ice cream bars, I think even some of the Klondike bars read safe for PA, but all of those have soy in them so that's out for us. As far as Breyer's we use cookies and cream, dulce de leche (really good), mint chocolate chip, and anything else that reads safe, your options may be even more if you don't avoid soy. Personally I see a lot of Edy's and Ben and Jerry's recalls so even though they label well I'm not comfortable with those brands. If anyone knows of Breyer's recalls that I'm not seeing please educate me.

Could you give us some more info on the Ben & Jerry's recalls you've seen? I haven't seen any in ages (and I'm on the FAAN mailing list for recalls), literally in at least a couple of years. Is there perhaps a regional difference? I'm in New England, if that helps.
Thanks!

I just punched in a quick search on "Ben & jerry's recalls" and a few popped up I scanned a few, one being the "karmel Sutra" with undeclared peanuts in 4/2003, still awhile ago. Maybe the website would have more info.
