Unless the Betty Crocker has artificial flavoring! The cake mix for Pecan Cake (I think it was pecan), only had milk, soy, wheat. Why no pecan?

I also bought some Pillsbury sugar cookies and chocolate chip cookies, are they all made on different lines?

I've never called about any of these products.

sometimes...nut-flavored items are artificially flavored
For instance...many hazelnut or toffee nut coffee beans are artifically flavored, no nuts at all.
Nestle makes a Butterfinger hot cocoa, it's artificial peanut flavor with chemicals, no peanut protein at all! I actually called on this one.
Shamrock Farms (a large dairy company in Arizona) makes a peanut butter flavored milk...I was like WHAAAATTTT??? I called, and the woman pointed out that even on the label of it it says "artificial peanut flavor, no peanut protein in this product" (I had heard a commercial on the radio, I didn't actually see it in a store)
So..things can have artificial flavors.

Shamrock has PB milk now? Even though I love PB, that just sounds gross. But I do miss their dulce de leche milk-- they don't have it in CT, so I haven't had it since I moved from AZ about 4 years ago.

yeah - I heard a commercial on the radio last summer and freaked out! I use their half 'n half...so I called, and got the good answer. Next time I was in Basha's I looked at the bottle and low & behold...it says 'no peanut protein, artificially flavored'
