We live in Georgia. My children go to a small Christian School and I teach there also. He has worn it on him since K5. It is a law in Georgia that they be allowed to have the epi and inhaler with them. There is a list of states on the FAAN website that allow the inhaler and epi to be carried... that may be of some help to you.

StaceyK, do you know what kind of safe box they have? My DS will be going to preschool soon and so far they keep the pens "locked up" which of course I can't stand. Maybe if I provide the box they'll go with it. (Hopefully).
