Southwest Air and Alaska should be congratulated for recogizing the seriousness of PA. I was also told that on request, no peanuts would be served on your Southwest flight- but you need to: bring a letter from the doctor stating the allergy and symptoms, alert the reservation and gate staff, as well as flight attendant.
Alaska Airlines simply does not serve peanuts on any flight. They serve pretzels.
