LONG post...sorry.
Basically, during the meeting, we found a few things to be helpful: 1. CT guidelines 2. Doctor's notes and information 3. The USDA information helped a bit as well. 4. We also brought skin prick tests results in and discussed them although this is not necessary.
When preparing for our 504 meeting, I printed out a lot of info. We brought a lot of info into the meeting and did not use it. They either thought we were well informed or very crazy!
We did read through a lot of these articles prior to the meeting and it helped when arguing our points during the meeting. I think reading through some of this would be helpful for those who are trying to understand 504 issues.
So here is my very lengthy list. Hope it helps some of you.
We are from CT, so the guidelines were THE most important info we brought with us to 504 meetings. This was relied on heavily for our child
Awesome post, Lori Anne! Thank you for taking the time to post all this. I think it's very helpful to have all these links in one place. Thanks! I must give credit where credit is due though...I did not find ALL of these on my own. Many of these links were found with the help of others...Gail W, Momcat, Nutternomore, and Ohio are just a few that helped me find these. Thanks to all of you.
THANK YOU!!!! I will save this one, and probably use quite a bit!!!
