I'm Anna Mom to Matthew almost 3 yrs old with a PA....
sigh...
its been a trip so far.
I found out Matt had PA when I ate a peanut butter sandwich ...did offer it to him...he didn't want it .
Went to kiss him good night and then he got hives all over his belly hands back.
My hubby was home I took Matt to the bathroom and tried to wash the hives off.. Yeah right.
My husband used to be an EMT so he said we have to go to the hospital now. We got in a car two minutes later ..In the car Matthew's face was blowing up....I didn't know what was going on.
Thank GOd he didn't eat it or it could've been worse.

Since then...I've taken him to party where they had peanut candy around ...it was put away when i got there but he got hives ..so we had to leave.
I gave him Benadryl and he was ok

Since then no major reactions.
He does have Asthma ..eczema...
He is taking shots every week...immunotherapy....
IS ANYONE ELSE DOING THAT??
So far from what I've noticed his asthma is getting better.
Before he used to be sick and have a runny nose all the time.
and had many more attacks.
This year we had 2 ER visits the year before like 6 for asthma .

So much better.
I have to mention ...that Who eats Peanut Doughnuts....and they sell them at dunkin donuts
