Went to Pizzeria Uno last night. Not my favorite place, but the kids love to make their own pizza. Even though we've been there lots of times, I always ask about allergens. I was directed to a computer kiosk that gave extensive information about the food ingredients, with specific attention to labeling allergens. They even label for potential cross contamination, too. For example, one chicken item did not list any peanut product in the ingredients, but peanuts was listed in the allergen section. Of course there is still potential for cross contamination in the kitchen I suppose, but I was very impressive with the information provided, and I hope this is something we'll see a lot more often at restaurants.
