I guess I've never had granola before, but, blechhhh! I LOVE that they were kind enough to send a sample so that I wouldn't buy a huge box and let it go to waste. My teeth are so weak that I could barely chew it, the taste was better than I thought though. Sadly, I won't be buying these but I love them for sending me a sample of each bar. Not to worry, the bars were so good that my grandma, non PA! loved them!

Now, I'm hoping SoyNut Butter will let me sample before buying an actual jar.

I also got the FREE samples of the granola bars from NoNuttin and DD loved them! We brought them on Christmas vacation and she ate them as her safe snack on the plane-I actually took a bite and thought they were really good (flavor). Her's were really soft, not hard at all.
I got online to order them but you have to order them by the CASE!! It would take us forever to go through 64+ bars!!! It's too bad you can't buy them by the box, not the case. So, I did not order them even though she has begged me to do so.
Guess I need to drive to Canada and get them at the store up there!

We got the free samples too. My son liked them, but not enough to buy 64! We are pretty close to Canada so someday we will go and buy some.
csc, if you go to their website there is a link to email them for free samples.

Too bad we cannot figure out a way to split a case between a few of us! My son loved his samples, but we don't have $80 to fork out for a case of granola bars.

Is there anyone in the Bay area (SF)or surrounding areas that would like to split a case? I want to order some (we just got our samples today!) but don't know what I would do with so many!!
Thanks

Just ate a raisin one. Just received them in the mail this morning. Tastes like a granola bar always tasted to me.
There isn't a store close to me in Toronto, but it would be interesting to see how much they are in the stores.
Best wishes!

I just got my samples--have only eaten one so far (apple cinnamon) and it was GREAT! Pretty sweet--kinda like a rice krispie treat. But yeah, what would I do with 64 granola bars (the minimum order) for over $80 including shipping? I thoroughly recommend these if you live near one of their retail vendors in Canada. I'll try to pick some up next time I visit my friend in Toronto.

tabby, well, at least you restrained yourself unlike me.
They did tell me what stores they sold to in Toronto or the GTA, but NONE of them were close. I did find out that in B.C. (which would be close to where they are made) an IGA is carrying them for $1.89 per bar.
I think, for me, it's kinda like, okay, I'd get them and then my picky eater guy wouldn't like them and I don't need to be scarfing down that many granola bars.
But no, they were excellent!

Ordered some for the kids after they gobbled the free samples of apple cinnamon and raisin, came to almost a hundred dollars to get them shipped here to NY. Worth every penny, they're thrilled (we're soy allergic as well, so that limits us further, I was comfortable with their cleaning process since it was only lecithin on the line). The lady I talked to at the company said they are considering adding a soynut butter in their product, I begged her not to, not comfortable with the actual soy protein on the line. Anyways, these remind me more of the chewy granola bars we ate before we had kids with allergies, don't think DH has tried one yet due to the price , before this we had the allerenergy bars, which were good in their own way, and which we'll definitely be purchasing again for summer trips to parks and what not. Both about equal in expense, having food allergies just is not the economical way to go. Hoping to be able to talk hubby into buying another case before they put soynut butter on the lines, Ds does react to soy lecithin, although much more mildly now (that's how I found out Kellogg's wasn't labeling their Special K eggos properly, ds was sneezing every time he ate them) and has not had a problem with these bars.

You can buy them by the bar from Nicole's Specialty Chocolates. They are $2 (Canadian) apiece.
