My daughter wanted ice cream after gymnastics. She and her 2 best friends and their moms and I went. We had called a local ice-creamery, they couldn't assure me they were peanut free. I also, just realized yesterday, that scooped ice cream isn't an option since the scoop is used in all flavors.
We went to Goodberry's, I explained her allergy, the lady there was very knowledgeable, they have vanilla custard and put different toppings on it and mix. She said the topping spoons are used only in that particular container and is perfectly safe.
FYI
Oh, my neighbor decided to order peanut butter fudge ice cream there and eat it next to us, her daughter came over to touch my daughter and I snatched her up before she could get to her and left. See... there just isn't anyone other than the parents here that understand how serious this allergy really is, huh?
