My son J.T. had his first reaction at 15 mo. He is now 6 years old and I dont have to tell any of you that my life has never been the same. This is the first time I have ever thought to look for support concerning this issue. Two days ago I sent my darling little boy off to first grade and for the first time he had to be away from me all day. The stress I have been feeling has really consumed me and that is why I am writing to all of you. I have spent 3 hours on this sight laughing and crying. I feel the pain and anxiety of each and every one of you! The best thing is that I am no longer alone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

JOHNTYLER'SMOM, welcome! You certainly found the right place, as you have discovered.
No question is ever too stupid to ask. No one will ever negate your feelings or questions. You will receive information, support, encouragement, caring and concern.
I can't stress how wonderful it is that you found this website. I believe you'll really find that by posting on this site, or even by reading the posts, that you will find your stress levels decrease a little.
I'm sending my little guy off to Grade One next week but he's already been in the school system for two years. Grade One seems to be a whole new ball game though and I can certainly understand your concern.
Just know that you'll be okay and so will your son. You found the right place.
Best wishes!

Welcome JohnTylers Mom,
I too stumbled into this site. I was looking for information about cats (which I am highly allergic to)becuase our Public Library had one as a pet. That though is another story in itself. I have found a little bit of peace with knowing that I am truly not alone.
This site is truly a Godsend too all who find it. And Chris who started this site is a true Angel to all who have pa/ta/fa.
Here's to staying peanut free.
