Anyone ever react to ginger ale?

Son began to clear his throat and cough. He seemed scared and wanted the nebulizer.
It could have, and most likely was his risky meal -- but the onset coincided with him sipping GA.

No, but the bubbles bother my throat. And it's actually worse when I get soda from a machine like Wendys, pizzeria, etc.

DS is the one with FA but whenever I drink ginger ale, I cough. Must be the carbonation or the vapors maybe? Never fails. Especially with Vernors. (which is the best ginger ale in my opinion)
