Just spreadin' the news...these are no longer safe...at least in my neck of the woods. I noticed a "May Contain" statement on them the other day. What a BUMMER!!!!

Hm, the bags I have of those do not have the allergy warnings. I imagine that Hershey's makes some at different locations.

We also have, here in NY, Hershey's brand candy coated chocolate eggs--like an m & m egg--that are safe. I (this is just me) prefer these eggs due to the recall (was it last year?) of Cadbury mini coated eggs. Wasn't there a mis-labeling problem last year--there was cross-contamination but the label didn't state it????
Anyway, I was so excited to see Hersheys making more options. They are yummy!!

I may be in the UK but this was very useful. My daughter was given a mini bag of sugar coated mini eggs yesterday. She was helping at a rainbows group and they had opened packets and distributed them to the children. She had some given to her as well. When I picked her up she showed me the little bagI said you can't eat those, because I had seen this discussion. She told me she had checked the label when she was distibuting them and they were ok but just in case could we stop at a shop and take a look. She came out of the shop and said 'you're right, I can't have them.' Phew, thank you!

Hi Everyone,
It's my understanding that only the U.S. Cadbury Caramel Creme Eggs and Mini Creme Eggs have a peanut/tree nut and egg warning statement now. However, the Cadbury candy-coated Mini Eggs do not have a warning and are still regarded as being safe per Hershey customer service.
Hope this helps, Happy Easter everyone!!!
