Frontier is now serving snacks with peanuts. Up until recently they would not guarantee a peanut-free flight, but they didn't serve anything with peanuts. They now do - we found out at 30,000 feet.

It's a new food service program - here's the link for details. [url="http://www.frontierairlines.com/frontier/flight-info/inflight-catering.do"]http://www.frontierairlines.com/frontier/flight-info/inflight-catering.d...
Customer service said they will only be serving the snacks on some flights but don't have a list of which ones yet.

We'll be flying another airline.

We just flew Frontier yesterday. We chose it because we thought they were peanut free. On our flight out, we realized that they sold snacks with peanuts. We weren't too concerned, but were annoyed that they claimed to be peanut free, yet were selling the snacks. So, on our way back, we talked to the attendant at the gate and told her of our dd pa and she said she was going to talk to the flight attendants about it so that they would not sell the snacks to the 3 rows in front and in back of us. Well, we were pleasantly surprised to hear an announcement made about a passenger (our dd) on board having a life threatening peanut allergy and if everyone could refrain from eating peanut foods. Then, the flight attendant found us and told us that the snacks they were going to serve either contained peanuts or were manufactured in the same facility or equipment so they were not going to serve them! What a nice surprise. They went above and beyond.
However, I do wish that they would be consistent. we've found that some attendants don't have a clue of what we are talking about when we ask for the 3 peanut free rows in front and in back of us. But at least we had one great experience.

Oh what a shame. I always prefer to fly Frontier when travelling for work, so I don't have to worry about nut snacks. I'm going to email them to voice my concern.
Here's the link if anyone wants to do the same:
