You are very welcome, Heather! With one child at preschool and the baby with a babysitter, I was able to go food shopping and do a little research. (impossible to do when they are with me) I wrote down a list of contact info off packages. I have always come to pa.com for information, and I am glad to be able to share any news that I find!

Hi. Spoke to Odwalla regarding fruit and grain bars. The nutted ones are made on same lines as nutfree ones. I talked to the rep. about labeling and she was very receptive and agreed to put in a request to include note on label somehow indicating production on mixed use lines or something like that.

I have seen an almond-soy flavor by them at a coffee shop I frequent. Do they mean they use a seperate line for the nutty flavors from the juices? mish

Hi, SF. I actually do not/have not purchased these products. I happened to look in the case to see if there was plain old milk for my dd, and that almond soy beverage was the only thing close! However, I did zip off an email, as it would be good to know of a safe beverage to get as a treat in a pinch. Here is a copy of the email:
Hello,
I read the peanutallergy.com discussion boards, and saw that your juices are made on nut free lines. I am concerned about the almond-soy beverage. Is this made on a seperate line from fruit juices, or are there certain cleaning procedures in place to guard against contamination? Thankyou for your attention to this concern.
sincerely,
I will post back the reply. mish

Here is the response I received:
Thank you for contacting us! I was so pleased to read that you have taken an interest in Samantha! That is great!
Our juices are made in the same containers as the shakes. However, I want to assure you that the containers are cleaned throughly, before and after each use, to prevent cross contamination.
Please send me your mailing address, for some complimentary Samantha!
If you have any other questions, please call us, at: 1.800.ODWALLA
