I think you guys are missing the sarcasm here... Just as there are people who ignore the rights of PA children, there are parents of PA children who ignore the rights of others. This represents the extreme on *both* sides of the fence.
I didn't find this article disgusting at all...just thought-provoking about whether my level of protection for my son takes into account the needs of others.

I read this. I was pretty upset, so I thought that I would write to the author..it said to write him with comments. I wrote and wrote and was pretty pleased with my non argumentative and direct commments, only to find he is not at the address he claims to be. What a bummer. If I could find a place to share my 'issues' I would send this email...oh well. Now I wish I hadn't read it. Perhaps some of this nonsense that only creates havoc should be put to rest and not even shared...what good does it do? I ask myself this..
