Hi folks.

Are there any flyers or panflets on PA that are targeted for the people around those with it? I noticed that some of the people I spoke with at my office didn't think its a big deal, but I wanted to give them some small information package. Most of the stuff I've found on the web is very long, and/or very technical in nature, and I'm sure that a lot of people just wouldn't bother reading it.

Thanks in advance and cheers.

That would be a great idea! I don't know of one, though FAAN might have one.

Sorry, but I've not seen any pamphlets here in the UK. Someone good to ask would be "williamsmummy" ... she is very aware!!
Good luck!

This isn't PA specific but might be helpful:

From the same website, they have a single page about peanut allergies:

Good luck!

I just re-raised a thread under Media about Shoppers Drug Mart's Health Brochure on Food Allergies. I thought it was excellent.
My offer still stands. If anyone would like a copy and can't get one, I'd be pleased to mail them out.
Best wishes!

Hi Cindy 0 is this an online version of the pamphlet?
http://www.shoppersdrugmart.ca/english/h...gies/index.html
I like to give out a short article from the Calgary allergy site called Peanut Allergy - All you Need to Know, but it may be a bit long for what you are looking for.
The aaaai has a lot of nice brochures in English and Spanish, here is a link to the general food allergy one
http://www.aaaai.org/patients/resources/fact_sheets/food_allergies.pdf
Unfortunately they don't have anything specifically for peanut allergy, but the resources are very good.
good luck and take care

good question!
Hmm is it the sound you make when you stick out your tongue for the doctor or a scream ending in a high pitch that kids let out when they see a needle....
