I just spoke with a rep from Entenmanns.I questioned some of the products that don't have a "manufactured on same line."She told me that if it does not have a statement then there were no nuts run on that line.I have not used their products for years because I believed they used shared lines for all their products.Has anyone gotten the same response?Does anyone eat their products? Thanks.

to my knowledge entemens does not label for shared equipment, at least not in my area. they will eventually. they just bold their allergens.

I've heard enough contradictions from them that they are miles outside of my comfort zone. Maybe I'll have to call them again.
Then again, if they have become safe they may be OK for my son, but deadly for our waistlines - I can't resist their stuff.

I trust them. They do change labels a lot so I would read them each time. Pound cake was safe one time then not another time. Donuts were not safe one time and now they are. I do trust their labeling. We've had them with no problems.

I looked at the pkgs of entenmann's in the store today. One had a 'processed in the same facility' label plus allergens in bold. The rest had no warning, just allergens in bold. I'm going to call and ask for myself. My kids are begging for krispy kreme but I am not going to buy donuts that have 5-7 grams of trans fat PER DONUT in them. All of the Entenmann's products I looked at had NO trans fat and no hydrogenated oils.

I tried to call but they said all the reps were busy so to leave my name and number. I didn't bother-when I'm online no one can call me anyway. I might keep trying though-maybe friday is just a busy day for them. In the meantime I've also sent an email.
