Hi,

Last year I complained the bejesuses (Sp?) out of Edaville Railroad to why they were using P- oil in their park. It's the most expensive oil and with so many kids allergic to it you are limiting your business. Well there must of been more than me complaining becuase we went to the festival of lights train ride and my daughter wanted fried dough, and my DH checked and nope they stoppped over a year ago. Only vegetable oil now. WOOH!!! Very excited!!

We went to Edaville a month or two ago and had the same experience: they use soybean oil for their fried dough. It was the first fried dough my PA son had been able to eat in ages!

Thank you so much for this info! I have always wanted to 'do' Edaville. BTW, my DD has NEVER been able to have 'fried dough' (I'm from the midwest, we have 'funnel cakes' NOT the same) when ALL the kids are eating it and you have to say "no, it's not safe" it just breaks your heart. It's nice to find a special treat that is safe (esp. one that is SO far away it can only be once a year!)
