There is also a restaurant that is pn/tn free at the American girl store. I am from Florida but I read these posts and then have spoken to both places.
Try Carmine's in the theater district - family style Italian food.
We like Bubba Gumps in Times Square, but that's because my kids are Forrest Gump addicts! They are very accomodating, although the desserts aren't safe.
