pWe spent a few nights in Moab back in May. As ever, finding a comfortable restaurant is sometimes tricky. During our trip, we found Denny's to be safe, but don't go to the one in Moab! We got really lousy service, and due to circumstances that are too complicated to explain, we believe that it was racial discrimination (my dh is Caucasian and I am Asian). If anyone wants the down and dirty about it, email me./p
pAnyway, we ended up patronizing three different local restaurants. Two of them were Mexican (can't remember the names). But the remarkable one was Eddie McStiffs, a local microbrewery. When we asked our server about peanuts, he immediately told us that there was a satay dish on the menu. But then he also explained that the sauce was kept covered in a plastic bucket in a separate area from where other food (such as chicken strips, pizza, fries, etc) was prepared. I was impressed that he knew how serious and important the issue was./p
pAlso, Eddie McStiffs has wonderful food./p
pAnd if anyone is wondering what the heck we were doing in Moab, it is right near Arches and Canyonlands National Parks./p
