eating habits

I am 25 and have had a peanut allergy my entire life. I am currently looking for protein bars (like Luna or Cliff bars) that are peanut free/not manufactured in a facility that produces peanut products. If anyone is familiar with a brand that is peanut allergy friendly, please let me know.

I am also interested in any information regarding vegetarianism for those with a peanut/nut allergy.

On another note, I have a lot of experience with living in a foreign country with a food allergy, should anyone need info on that topic. Thanks!

Hi kmkir:

I don't have any information on 'safe' protein bars, but you can probably successfully become a vegitarian, so long as you're not also allergic to soy. You will need to find alternative ways to supplement the protein in your diet (hence, I'm sure, the question on 'safe' protein bars!)

What is it you specifically want to know about vegitarianism and PA?
