I am sorry. I am sorry he had a bad reaction.
You will be in our thoughts and prayers. We know how frustrating these food allergies are.

Melissa,
{{{Hugs}}} to you and your whole family. I just wanted to say that I, like many others, follow your posts about the research with great interest and hope. Your son is breaking ground so that many other children/families may not have to suffer so much.
Take care, and stay strong. But allow yourself to have a pity party for a few days...you've definitely earned it.

I'm sorry to hear that. We too had anaphylaxis to egg after a neg RAST and neg SPT. Unfortunatley we were at home - so I am glad you were in a good place and got good care. It is still so scary and disappointing though.

I am sorry-- I know how excited you were to try the challenge today. How disheartening that it turned out so badly.

Oh Melissa, I'm so sorry. I feel like you and your family are part of my own. We have read every post about the Duke study getting so excited for your little guy every step of the way. He's such a brave kid and DESERVES to pass!!! I'll definately say a little prayer for all of you tonight.

Thinking of you and ds. I wish I had more words of comfort, but it just stinks.
I hope he is feeling better now.
