Just like to know it seems my fraternals are developing more problems with asthma, eczema, more colds due to J.K.,eye infections, ear infections, my son is PA and has EA's and daughter is on asthma meds and has bad eczema. Should I switch to a pediatrician? They are 4 yrs. old and sick a lot.
Do you have a pediatrician for your kids?

Great question, sorry I can't help but I'll keep checking what others say. Right now my kids go to a family practitioner and I think I am going to switch to a pediatrician. They are both PA with asthma as well.
Good luck!

Smack,
I really think as long as you trust your doctor, that it doesn't matter if it is a family doctor or a pediatrician.
I have always had a pediatrician with my children and we have gone through ear infection after ear infection. Strep throat, etc.....
I just took of 10 months of work because my pa child ended up with excema herpetica and ended up overnight in the hospital.
I am a single mom raising three beautiful little boys and while I was home my children were very healthy. Now that I am back in the work force it seems that we have been back to the doctors more because they are back in the daycare system.
Best wishes with your decisions.
