Does Your PA Child Also Have Drug (Antibiotics or Other) Allergies?

This is the monthly question from [url="http://www.allergicchild.com"]www.allergicchild.com[/url] which Nicole Smith has very kindly allowed me to alter slightly (i.e., PA rather than food allergy) and post the question on this website as well.

Also, if you get the chance, please visit [url="http://www.allergicchild.com"]www.allergicchild.com[/url] and also answer this same question there. Nicole does tally up the results at the end of each month and provides them on the website.

I strongly urge anyone who does have the opportunity to check out Nicole's website as it does deal with more than PA and she manages to raise interesting questions each month. I, myself, still want to read the section about parental stress.

Does your PA child have any drug allergies?
For me, no, Jesse does not have any drug allergies (or none that I am currently aware of).

My son is also Penicillin allergic. (PA and TNA)

Timmy is deathly allergic to Peanuts, Shellfish, Cats and Dogs. [img]http://uumor.pair.com/nutalle2/peanutallergy/frown.gif[/img] He is also allergic but not as severe to apples, milk, eggs (may have outgrown this one), strawberries and Penicillin. [img]http://uumor.pair.com/nutalle2/peanutallergy/eek.gif[/img] He also has a lot of environmental allergies.

PA son, no drug allergies, non PA DD is allergic to Sulfa Drugs. Not something I'm planning on giving Wade any time soon.

PA oldest son, no drug allergies (or environmental allergies).
His non-PA younger brother (since successful oral challenge in May!) allergic to sulfa based antibiotics and cephalosporin group.

Kevin is allergic to Penicillin and Cephalosporins.

Matt is allergic to amoxicillin, so I presume that means the entire penicillin family. He's PA/TNA, and has other food allergies, as well as an allergy to bandaid adhesive, and EAs.

Lauren is allergic to amoxocillin. (Realized this after her FIRST time on it. Doctor said that it was absolutely impossible to tell from first use and prescribed it one more time! Like the "doctor is God" idiot I used to be, I gave it to her!!! Guess what? She was allergic! Doc said, "Wow. That is a first for me." Arggh)

Stephen is allergic Dicloxacillin (Dynapen) and possibly Clindamycin (Cleocin). He is also allergic to to Zyrtec (not sure if it's an additive or the drug) and Benadryl (again not sure if it's additives or the drug - same reaction with the dye and dye free kinds)
Still trying to find a food he's NOT allergic to...
