I posted in the Reactions area, so I'm not going to repeat & I don't know how to link it. This is the 1st time my DD has ever tried anything from McDonald's (a plain biscuit) and she broke out in hives. I emailed them and I'm waiting for a reply, but was wondering what others experiences have been. She broke out in hives at McDonald's a couple of years ago at the PlayPlace at McDonald's, but we didn't go inside the restaurant this time--just the DriveThru.

Thanks,
Nicole

What is your daughter allergic to?
My peanut and egg allergic son eats there frequently, I'm sorry to say! He always gets chicken nuggets, french fries, and milk. He's never had any type of reaction.

Nevermind my question. I see you posted the details in a different message.
My son has never eaten the biscuits at McDonalds. Sorry I can't be of more help!

I don't trust them. At the one here, the flurry toppings are always all over the counter. The last time I was there, the cashier cleaned off the counter, which was full of toppings, with her bare hand, and then came right over to take our order. I left without ordering. They have no clue about allergies or avoiding cross contamination (I asked-and they literally have no clue).

I trust McDonalds.
Though I am in Canada and the McDonald's in Canada has peanut-free McFlurry toppings

Yes we trust McDonalds. My son doesn't like it though, so we usually end up at Wendys or Taco Bell. But when I have gotten hom to eat his food he has been fine. We do go there to get milkshakes and ice cream which of course he loves.

The Mcdonalds cookies in Canada have a "may contain traces of peanuts/treenuts" on the box.
We don't eat those.

We trust McDonalds...as much as I trust any other fast food place. We have eaten there several times with my PA, TNA DS and never have had any problems.
We don't go out to eat very often, but if I am in a hurry and looking for a quick meal on the go, I don't hesitate to stop.
This could vary depending on the particular allergies you are dealing with.
