It's a wonderful life, is it not? (regardless of circumstances, since IMPHO, such are effemeral, and the life, as it is, eternal. (What a deal )
I look at my cubs and think: "I love them so". And then I realize how much more God loves us. I never tire of the thought.
Hannah was born on the 4th of January. At around 12:30 am on the 8th, Logan broke his arm. It wasn't an open wound, but he did break both bones. His little arm was shaped like an "S". I could hardly think- DH and I trying to get DD and DS ready to rush to the hospital and keep him calm. I did have enough control to sit next to him for a minute as he lay on the couch bravely not moving his arm and say a prayer that he be spared any pain.
That child lay on the couch not moving while we dressed ourselves and got DD's car seat ready, he reminded ME to dress him, he let us put his clothes on and put him in his car seat and he never cried. We had to wait 6 hours for him to get into surgery (external manipulation of the bones) and he only cried briefly when they put the IV in his arm.
While there, they took us to the pediatric ward to wait and then immediately told us that the baby shouldn't be there and would probably get RSV and that both kids might go home with the flu. We activated our church's prayer chain first thing in the am. Neither child caught anything.
So while I know that sometimes my prayers aren't answered in the way that I'd like them to be- in this case they certainly were. I have no doubt that angels were watching over both my little ones on that night and continue to do so.
I am a Christan and I believe stongly in prayer!! I talk to Him daily all the time. I know he hears because some of the strangest prayers have been answered. I was 10 the first time I realy remember having a prayer answered. I was having a realy horrid childhood at that time and I prayed for a hamster. Yes a hamster, something I could talk to, to tell all my secrets to. Well it just so happened that the next day a friend and I were walking to the local AM-PM mini mart when we spotted something running on the groung along the bottom of a fence. I could not believe my eyes. It was a hamster!! This is so true!!! From that piont on I've never stopped believing. God bless you indeed every one!!
Yes,and always will!!!

The Daisy Thanks You
I definitely believe. My prayers have been answered time and time again. I am so lucky to have the blessings that I have in my life. I have had my share of tragedy and pain but believe that God has a purpose for the things that we are not able to understand. I can't imagine a life without the belief in the power of prayer. It brings me comfort on a daily basis.

Absolutely!!! Something I am guity of taking for granted at times - the freedom to pray anytime anywhere. I am so blessed. There have been times that I feel I have no where else to turn or when someone close to me is hurting and there is nothing else to do to ease their pain - WOW!!! the power of prayer is an AWESOME thing!! I am so blessed! (Warm fuzzies just thinking of how much I am loved by my Heavenly Father!!)
I believe in the power of placebos, either "pill" or "prayer"!

I remind myself that even if I don't *understand* why certain things *are/happen*, I am promised that some day, *all* will be revealed. Imagine, someday, God will explain every question, *personally*, to me. This in addition to reuniting with those I love.
Imagine, someday, being face to face with Jesus!
