We're planning to go to Disney in October. At that time, my son's will be 5 1/2 and 2 1/2. Ben, my older son, has a milk allergy. And Kevin, my 2 1/2 yr old has peanut, egg, and milk allergies. I read through many of the posts on Disney and noticed several people mentioning the egg allergy to be a challenge. I'm trying to figure out whether I need to find a place to stay that has a kitchen. How did those of you with multiple food allergies manage at restaurants? What did your kids eat for breakfast? My sons usually have Kix, cheerios, or oatmeal with soymilk. Will I be able to find soymilk at restaurants or local grocery stores? What did your kids eat for lunch? Do the buns for hamburgers and hotdogs contain milk, how about the breading for chicken nuggets, how about bread served with sandwiches?
I plan to call the head chefs when we get closer to the time we go. But I want to go ahead and make hotel reservations in next couple weeks so want to think through how we're going to manage.
