We are planning a trip to Disney World (FL) in December. I want to make dining reservations. Can anyone recommend a restaurant that makes accomdations for peanut allergies?

Congrats on your upcoming trip to Disney! It is so much fun.
If you are planning to make reservations within Disney-you really can't go wrong with any of the restaurants. Disney is very accommodating and allergy friendly. Here's what to do:
Many of the restaurants have their menus online. Find one you like and call the Disney dining reservation number. When you make the reservation, tell them about the allergies you are dealing with. Call to confirm your reservation before you go and again mention the allergies. When you get to the restaurant, mention the allergies. Are you sensing a pattern here? :)
More than likely a chef will come to the table to talk you through the menu, your allergies, and what you can eat. That's what happened for us. We ate there a lot and not a single reaction the entire trip!
Best of luck and have fun!

Thanks so much Ruth. Truly, living in Florida is not like vacationing in Florida! I live a mere 25 minutes from Disney and have probably visited the parks less than a handful of times in my 13 years living here. Not to mention the last time we visited the park, was before my son was diagnosed with his PA.
One tip that I can share with anyone planning on a trip to Disneyworld, is that you can find Divvies products in some of the shops on Main Street, in the magic kingdom.

Thanks for sharing the Divvies tip. I live in Florida as well and go to Disney several times a year. My first stop will be Main Street to hunt down Divvies. They are the best cookies even if you don't have a peanut allergy.

I hunted down the email I received from Divvies. Here is what they told me: "Our chocolate chip cookies, jelly beans and caramel corn are throughout Disney World, but can almost always be found at the Main Street Bakery."
I have never had their cookies but we will certainly be trying them when we go.

I haven't had Divvies in a while, but last we did-I recommend eating soon or freezing. They get crumbly if held on to for too long.
